Even though I always look dead when I'm riding my bike or running I do have fun. My knee had to be wrapped and because of that I didn't come close to running the whole thing I suppose I did okay for my first marathon. I'll do better next time and hopefully my knee issues will go away. I finished in 4:18:35 and next time in under 4 hours I hope. Good job Tara and especially Cory and thank you Rachel for running with me the last few miles. Who's your friend Tara?
So I finished and I'm very happy with the results, they may not be super big changes but I can really see them and feel them which is what counts. I guess its not really over since next week I will start a new routine that I have put together for myself. I am going to do 4 days a week of workouts from p90x instead of 6 and the other days I will have runs and bike rides so that I can progress in those sports or hobbies of mine. I think I will continue to get in better shape as long as I can stick to a good routine and not get to bored of it.
So i've been doing this for a month and i think there are some changes coming. i just want to say that i'm doing the lean version of the program which means i'm not going to get all buff which is good, i don't want that. my diet has been pretty good but easter didn't help with all the candy. i'm going to eat a few less carbs like i'm supposed to and maybe i'll get rid of my little extra on th stomach. my abs do fell a lot stronger and i'm starting to see it.
