TRI FOR FUN#2

First little tirathlon of the year. Did better than last year but wanted to get under an hour. Missed my goal by about 20 some seconds. There were 900 hundered people and I was within the first 20 to finish. No ranking so I can't be sure.

Jersey

Went to Jersey to visit my friend Frank for the weekend. Went and saw a Mets game in their new stadium which was awesome and totally out of the blue. On the way to Jersey from JFK we saw a bunch of people over by the stadium so we got off the freeway and got tickets. Great game and great stadium and great game! Other than that we didn't do a lot. I helped Frank do some work and went to a couple bars and then came home. Fun trip but I'm happy to be back west.

12K

Ran my first 12K and finished in 1:02. Thats what I was hoping for. Bay to Breakers better be under an hour.

Taxi Leaving

Drove Taxi to Winnemucca to give him up for the summer. I guess I might miss him a little bit. On the way back Alicia and I spent the night in Reno and I made 20 bucks on 3 hands of black jack and then decided to quite while I was ahead and we got some pizza. Reno is dirty, but it was fun.

Tour De California

Derek and I went down to Ocean Beach to see the tour go by but missed it by like 10 seconds so we decided to drive to Half Moon Bay to see and got down there only a couple of minutes before they came through. It was awesome even though we were there only 10 minutes. Lance Armstrong is about 9 riders back in the yellow helmet. This really makes me want to ride.

Beach

Alicia and I took Taxi and Pistol to the beach because its been so nice. Pistols first time at the beach, she was pretty stoked. Taxi enjoyed the sun.

PORTLAND

Went up to Portland for the winter beer festival and drank some good beer and also some bad beer. All together it was pretty awesome.
